I started Improve last September (8 months now) and I've done it consistently since then. Being a knowledgeable athlete, I became very impressed with Sam's approach. Very structured and organised, easy to understand the progressions.

I really loved how structured and detailed the program was. It meant that even on days I didn't want to train, all I had to do was follow the plan. Sam's support was great, always on hand with tips on how to improve form and mobility. This plan was the first plan that I actually stuck to 100% and I still follow the principles of it today. I've previously completed the original Improve programming with Sam, so I knew I was in safe hands with Evolve. The workouts are challenging from the beginning, but with incorporated deload weeks so I have never felt too fatigued to train. I have continued to make improvements in strength, cardiovascular performance and body composition.
Being a numbers person, the easy to use web based platform is perfect as it clearly shows the weekly progressions, allowing me to progress at my own pace each week. I especially like the energy system development work, something I've neglected in the past and I’m slowly but surely becoming a fan of this type of training.
I've had numerous people comment on how structured my training looks in the gym. It shows the thought and evidence based knowledge that has gone into creating the plan. I intend on continuing for the remainder of the years programming.

I was recommended Sam Pepys Performance Program following the birth of my second child and the lead up to my wedding. I embarked on the 16 week online coaching program. This was suitable for me due to being a Mother to two children under two and living in a rural location.
The software is foolproof and practical. It is very easy to access your profile whether on your phone or computer. The videos mean that you can check in if you feel there are inaccuracies in how you are performing a certain session. If you have further queries Sam is a text/email/phone-call away. He makes regular check –ins that helped me stay buoyant.
The sessions are short and sharp but not exhaustive and Sam has made sure there are challenges and variety but the routines do not wear you down. Being able to mark each day off gives great satisfaction.
I lost over a stone in weight and I have developed my muscle tone. I have also learned about a new approach to fitness. Sam has a wealth of experience and is always adapting his training for the benefit of his client. He has sound knowledge in his field and I would definitely recommend him.

Finding an online trainer to help me out with my own programming was incredibly tough. Being a Strength and Conditioning coach myself, Sam’s programming ideology and attention to detail was exactly what I was looking for. I’ve been following the evolve plan now for coming up to a year. Since the very beginning, it’s been a game changer for me. Having followed Sam online for a while I knew his style of training was similar to the things I enjoyed – typical strength training and then conditioning cardio. Working as a busy PT, I struggled to find the motivation to plan for myself in the gym, so knew that following a plan was important. I wasn’t looking for a quick 8 week style plan, I wanted a longer program, so when I saw the evolve was for up to a year I knew it was the right thing for me. By signing up and seeing the structure of the program from the outset, I was able to see where I was heading, that there was a plan behind the programming.
It’s safe to say my strength has significantly increased but this in line with an improvement in my cardio. Don’t get me wrong, those ‘finisher’ style cardio seem simple, but at the end of a session, really hit that painful sweet spot! Aside from developing me physically, as a relatively new PT I’ve also learn a lot about programming and training, which has and will continue to develop my business.
I highly recommend the evolve program to anyone who is looking to become better all round. Both strength and cardio WILL improve if you stick to the plan. It’s extremely easy to follow and Sam is always on hand if needed.
